What you will demonstrate
Prepare like the role is already yours.
- Produces controlled receiving, inspection, putaway, replenishment, picking, packing, staging, loading, returns, and reverse logistics with traceable WMS transactions.
- Uses WMS transaction and location control, advance-shipping-notice and purchase-order matching, dock scheduling, receipt inspection, license-plate labeling, directed putaway, quarantine, and discrepancy escalation with appropriate safeguards.
- Partners effectively with warehouse associates, team leads, inventory controllers, trainers, and maintenance technicians who execute and support each shift.
- Balances recordable and near-miss safety, powered-equipment and pedestrian separation, damage, ergonomic exposure, training qualification, and corrective-action closure.
- Guards against chasing units per hour by weakening pedestrian separation, equipment inspection, rack limits, load stability, ergonomics, breaks, or stop-work authority; releasing waves without labor, replenishment, space, dock, or carrier capacity; bypassing scans or moving stock outside the WMS; hiding shorts, damages, near misses, or service misses; making unsupported inventory adjustments; mixing available, quarantined, recalled, or damaged stock; coaching through public blame or arbitrary pressure; or declaring recovery complete without inventory, shipment, safety, and next-shift verification.
