What you will demonstrate

Prepare like the role is already yours.

  • Produces fair and documented leasing, screening, move-in, renewal, arrears, accommodation, and move-out workflows.
  • Uses leasing-funnel and vacancy control, published qualification criteria, consented tenant screening, FCRA adverse-action notices, fair-housing review, reasonable-accommodation workflow, lease administration, renewal planning, and documented resident communication with appropriate safeguards.
  • Partners effectively with applicants, residents, households, and people requesting disability, language, or accessibility support.
  • Balances occupancy, vacancy days, leasing conversion, renewal and turnover rate, bad debt, arrears aging, resident retention, and complaint closure.
  • Guards against using discriminatory or undocumented leasing criteria; mishandling an accommodation, assistance animal, screening consent, or adverse-action notice; entering homes, changing locks, charging fees, or pursuing possession outside the lease and local law; ignoring habitability, life-safety, access, or lead risk; using unqualified vendors; losing keys or resident data; commingling funds; concealing arrears, expense, incident, or condition evidence; deferring safety for NOI; or exceeding legal, technical, insurance, or accounting authority.
