What you will demonstrate

Prepare like the role is already yours.

  • Produces complete CMMS work orders with asset identity, symptom, priority, hazards, isolation, diagnosis, labor, parts, readings, repair, test, and handoff evidence.
  • Uses asset hierarchy, criticality, manuals, drawings, P&IDs, schematics, CMMS history, operator interview, symptom reproduction, baseline condition, job plan, permit, and task-risk review with appropriate safeguards.
  • Partners effectively with operators, production leads, occupants, and customers affected by safe equipment availability.
  • Balances planned versus reactive work, preventive-maintenance compliance, schedule compliance, backlog age, wrench time, emergency response, and work-order quality.
  • Guards against treating a stop button as isolation, missing stored or secondary energy, reaching into moving equipment, bypassing a guard or interlock, forcing a PLC output, repeatedly resetting an overload, swapping parts without a fault tree, lubricating or adjusting exposed moving machinery, using an unqualified electrical or pressure-system method, installing the wrong part or revision, contaminating a hydraulic or lubrication system, returning equipment with guards removed, hiding repeat failures or incomplete CMMS records, or restarting before a controlled functional and load verification.
